Fox or other predation on a crayfish. Identification based on location only containing this species - identifiable features are internal in the carapace of crayfish - a pair of grinding "toothed" structures in the digestion system.

I removed the net and reported it to the local ranger. I have previously removed other nets but this is the first of this style.

Please report these illegal nets to Access Canberra. The information gets passed on to our Fisheries Enforcement Officer who follows up on these and keeps and eye on these areas.
