Zeuzera quieta versus Orientozeuzera quieta I have looked at the reference used in the Wikipedia stub you cited. Found via a search at https://www.zobodat.at/pdf/Neue-Entomologische-Nachrichten_66_0001-0129.pdf Yes this proposes a new genus Orientozeuzera (p. 58) and moves some Zeuzera sp to this new genus (comb. nov.). It also proposes a number of new species (spec. nov.) that are assigned to the new genus. However, in the case of Orientozeuzera quieta the entry reads as follows:-
" ? Orientozeuzera quieta Turner, 1932 Zeuzera quieta Turner, 1932, Trans. Proc. Roy. Soc. South Australia 56: 194. LT: North-West Australia: Wyndham. Type material (holotype by monotypy) in Museum of Economic Entomology, Canberra. Distribution: Australia (Queensland, NW Australia) (Turner, 1945)." (p.59)
There is a "?" at the start of the entry and it is not labelled "comb. nov." so I take it the author is unsure about the new placement of this species. I expect there will be no changes on AFD/ALA any time soon.
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orientozeuzera_quieta Yakovlev, apparently, found evidence that it better fitted Orientozeuzera. Anyway, all will perhaps be revealed when/if AFD comes good. Meanwhile we flounder.
I proposed Zeuzera quieta as per my comment yesterday with the 2 references. Both these references called it Zeuzera quieta. I did not encounter the other name. I don't know how my suggested name changed. Is it related to the evaporating histories? I did add the synonym of Orientozeuzera quieta to the species record of Zeuzera quieta.
